The MCR standard is to provide clean, friendly, well-organized and safe hotels for our guests. This role focuses on maintaining spotless cleanliness through effective linen processing and facility upkeep. The Laundry Attendant performs all stages of linen processing, including collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading, and unloading of washers, dryers, and laundry chutes, folding, storing, and delivering. They are responsible for washing and drying all dirty linens, towels, rags, etc., as directed by management, removing and sorting dirty linens and towels from laundry carts, and folding linens/towels and stocking linen carts as required. Additionally, the role involves understanding the operation of washing machines and dryers, cleaning dryer filters, maintaining equipment, sweeping and mopping laundry floors, storing linens off the floor, keeping laundry carts clean and free of debris, stocking linen closets, and ensuring all back-of-house areas are well-organized and clean. Chemical management, including replacing and replenishing cleaning chemicals, is also a key responsibility.
