About The Position
Boar’s Head Resort is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to support daily operations and uphold the high standards of cleanliness and presentation across the resort. This role is essential in ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest laundry are processed efficiently and to luxury-level quality standards.
Requirements
- Previous laundry, housekeeping, or hospitality experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Responsibilities
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items
- Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear and take appropriate action
- Maintain proper chemical usage and follow all safety guidelines
- Ensure timely delivery of clean linens to designated departments
- Keep laundry area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or maintenance needs
- Support housekeeping and other departments as needed
