About The Position

This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the cleaning and maintenance of laundry, ensuring that all items are processed according to established procedures and safety protocols. The attendant will operate laundry equipment, manage supplies, maintain a clean work environment, and assist guests when necessary.

Requirements

Ability to operate laundry equipment (washers, dryers, ironing machines).
Knowledge of laundry chemicals and supplies.
Understanding of safety protocols for equipment and chemicals.
Record-keeping skills for inventory.
Customer service skills for assisting guests.
Ability to collaborate with team members.
Adherence to company policies on cleanliness, safety, and customer service.

Responsibilities

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron clothes and linens according to established procedures.
Inspect items for stains, damages, or special instructions before processing.
Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and ironing machines.
Ensure all laundry chemicals and supplies are stocked and used appropriately.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area.
Follow proper safety protocols when handling equipment and chemicals.
Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance issues to the appropriate supervisor.
Keep accurate records of inventory, including linens and cleaning supplies.
Assist guests or clients with laundry-related inquiries or requests.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of laundry services.
Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness, safety, and customer service.
Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
