About The Position
The University of Notre Dame is seeking a Temporary Laundry Attendant to process incoming soiled and outgoing clean laundry in accordance with set laundry quality and quantity standards. This role involves being cross-trained in various work areas such as soil sorting, drying, finishing, and assembling. The attendant will be trained in both automated and manual laundry processes using a variety of industrial laundry equipment and will be trained to follow all safety procedures.
Requirements
- Diligent work ethic.
- Must be a self-starter.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to calculate pieces or pounds processed.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming soiled and outgoing clean laundry in accordance with set laundry quality and quantity standards.
- Be cross-trained in a variety of work areas such as soil sorting, drying, finishing, and assembling.
- Operate automated and manual laundry processes using a variety of industrial laundry equipment.
