About The Position

Picture Yourself at Biltmore Farms as part of the Vanderbilt legacy of hospitality! As a Laundry Attendant, you will be responsible for sorting, washing, and folding all linens from guest rooms to the restaurant and banquet areas. You will also keep the laundry area clean and organized, handle all laundry aspects of the hotel from towels and uniforms to bedspreads and blankets, and treat each hotel guest like a guest in your own home. This role requires availability for the PM shift, flexible availability, and the ability to work weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Must be available to work PM shift
Have flexible availability
Work weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
Knowledge of hotel housekeeping and cleaning techniques
At least one year of experience in hotel setting is a plus
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Capable of lifting up to 35 pounds
Capable of constant walking, lifting, bending, pushing and pulling
Able to work with cleaning products regularly
Able to work in a hot environment at various times throughout the year

Responsibilities

Be a team player and assist Room Attendants and Porters, as needed
Handle all laundry aspects of the hotel from towels and uniforms to bedspreads and blankets
