About The Position

Scioto Country Club is seeking a Seasonal Laundry Attendant for the PM/Evening Shift. This role is responsible for the upkeep and organization of the Laundry and Linen Room, including cleaning and ironing soiled linen used throughout the club and its facilities, and maintaining a clean laundry room area. The club is a highly-rated institution with a tradition of excellence, seeking individuals who are passionate about service and career development.

Requirements

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Able to lift and move 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely and correctly operate all laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of and ability to perform required role in emergency situations.
• Empties linen hampers; receives soiled linen.
• Separates and counts linen; inspects for needed repairs and worn items.
• Loads and operates washers.
• Loads and operates dryers.
• Folds and stores linen by type.
• Cleans laundry room and linen room.
• Checks daily worksheets for linen needed.
• Assures quality cleaning and pressing of linens and club uniforms after drying.
• Takes linen inventory periodically and reports shortages.
• Requisitions laundry supplies.
• Transports linen to storage locations.
• Completes other appropriate tasks assigned by Housekeeping Manager.
