Under the direction of the Support Services Manager in accordance with the facility Mission, Vision and Values statements and Resident Bill of Rights, provides Laundry services for River Park Gardens Personal Care Home.
Requirements
- Verbal command of the English language and English reading skills required, written skills preferred.
- Ability to relate well with co-workers, Residents and families.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to attend work on a consistent basis.
- Ability to perform duties requiring frequent bending and lifting.
- Must have a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment.
- Must be responsible for any service charges incurred for security checks.
- A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous work experience preferred but not necessary.
Responsibilities
- Provides Laundry services for River Park Gardens Personal Care Home.
- Demonstrates concern and interest in the quality of care in cleaning the Resident clothes and making sure they are delivered to the proper place on the rack.
