About The Position

Scioto Country Club is seeking a Laundry Attendant for the PM/Evening Shift. This role is responsible for assisting with the upkeep and organization of the Laundry and Linen Room, ensuring all soiled linen used throughout the club and its facilities is cleaned and ironed, and maintaining a clean laundry room area. Requirements

• High School education or equivalent preferred.
• Able to lift and move 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Safely and correctly operate all laundry equipment.
• Empties linen hampers and receives soiled linen.
• Separates and counts linen, inspecting for needed repairs and worn items.
• Loads and operates washers and dryers.
• Folds and stores linen by type.
• Cleans laundry room and linen room.
• Checks daily worksheets for linen needed.
• Assures quality cleaning and pressing of linens and club uniforms after drying.
• Takes linen inventory periodically and reports shortages.
• Requisitions laundry supplies.
• Transports linen to storage locations.
• Completes other appropriate tasks assigned by Housekeeping Manager.
