About The Position

South Port Square is seeking a Laundry Associate to join their team. This role is responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents. The Laundry Associate will contribute to the overall cleanliness and neatness of resident private apartment homes, common areas, and the healthcare center, as applicable. The company emphasizes a strong work ethic, a positive impact on residents' lives, and creating an environment of trust and transparency.

Requirements

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse required.

Nice To Haves

Three to six months’ experience in housekeeping or janitorial position preferred.

Responsibilities

Performs general housekeeping duties in apartments, such as: vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens, and dusting of all cleared flat surfaces.
Performs general housekeeping duties of hallways and common areas as directed by supervisor.
Maintains all equipment and supplies in proper condition.
Responsible for performing a variety of housekeeping and laundry functions to maintain an attractive, clean, and comfortable environment to meet the needs of residents.
