About The Position

We are recruiting for a hospitality-focused laundry associate. The Laundry Associate is responsible for carrying out the daily laundry operations of the community, including washing, drying, folding, sorting, and distributing resident clothing and community linens. This role helps ensure laundry services are completed efficiently while maintaining cleanliness and organization in the laundry areas.

Requirements

Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively
Ability to frequently stand, bend, and move up to 30 pounds
Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled weekends
Compliance with the LCS COVID-19 Policy is required for this position
Must be able to pass preemployment screening process, which includes a criminal background check, drug test, tuberculosis skin test and employment references as required by a licensed residential care facility.

Nice To Haves

Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred but not required
High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Responsibilities

Collects, sorts, washes, dries, folds, and redistributes resident clothing and community linens
Ensures all laundry is processed according to State and Federal regulations
Maintains laundry areas in a clean, organized, and sanitary condition
Labels and organizes resident laundry appropriately
Reports equipment concerns or supply needs to supervisor
Accomplishes all work in the order of priority set by supervisor
Provides courteous and professional service to residents and staff
