About The Position
Fleetwood Post Acute is a 102-bed skilled nursing facility located in Easley, South Carolina. The Laundry Aide ensures residents’ clothing and linens are properly cleaned, sorted, and delivered, playing an essential role in maintaining hygiene, comfort, and dignity for residents. The role is part-time with an early morning schedule.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and stay organized
- Reliable and punctual for early morning shifts
- Ability to lift, carry, and stand for extended periods
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic
- Compassion for an underserved population
Responsibilities
- Wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing and facility linens
- Sort laundry according to type, color, and care instructions
- Operate and maintain laundry equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper handling of soiled linens in accordance with infection control guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized laundry area
- Deliver clean laundry to appropriate locations in a timely manner
- Monitor laundry supplies and report needs to supervisor
- Follow all safety, sanitation, and infection control procedures
