About The Position

Silverado North Shore is hiring a part-time Laundry Aide to help maintain a clean, comfortable, and dignified environment for residents in its memory care community. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, consistency, integrity, and a service-oriented approach. The ideal team member is eager to learn, works well with others, and supports residents with respect and compassion.

The position is scheduled for an AM shift on Saturday and Sunday. The anticipated pay range is $14–$17 USD. Employment offers are contingent on a background check, drug screening, physical, and TB testing if applicable. Silverado uses E-Verify to confirm work authorization.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or educational equivalent preferred.
• Comfortable working around animals and pets.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Ability to walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work with individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.
• Reliable transportation to meet attendance and punctuality standards.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and sort laundry for the community.
• Ensure cleanliness and proper handling of resident garments and linens.
• Contribute to the goals and objectives of the department and community.
• Maintain a safe and sanitary environment.
