About The Position

Join the WashStudio Team as a Laundromat Attendant! WashStudio is hiring vibrant, friendly, and community-minded individuals to join our team as Laundromat Attendants. We’re not your average laundromat – we’re a modern, comfy space where great people come together to make a difference. We are looking for individuals to work our OPENING SHIFTS or CLOSING SHIFTS. Urgent openings at WashStudio Soulard – be part of our flagship team in a prestigious, historic neighborhood!

Great physical condition. This position requires standing for the ENTIRE shift, lifting bags of laundry, keeping the facility clean (wiping, scrubbing, sweeping, mopping, and more).
Ready to bring your unique personality to WashStudio!
Must be 21 or older.
Have reliable transportation.
No laundromat experience needed, but customer service experience is strongly preferred.
Must be able to stand for the entire shift and lift 50 pounds.
Must be able to work 4 to 5 days of the following hours to be considered for the this position: OPENING SHIFTS Sunday - Saturday: 6:45AM - 2:00PM CLOSING SHIFTS Sunday - Saturday 2:00PM - 9:00PM/Close

Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers with a smile.
Create a positive, friendly vibe for everyone who walks through our doors.
Support wash, dry, and fold services with care and attention to detail.
Keep our modern machines and comfy lounge areas spotless and presentable at all times.
Perform all front desk operations, point of sale transactions, answer the phone.
Run the show and operate the laundromat with excellence by yourself throughout your shift.
