Laundromat and Facility Maintenance Technician
About The Position
Spin Cycle Laundromats is seeking a full-time Laundry Mechanic / Facilities Maintenance Technician to support operations across multiple Albuquerque locations. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience who takes pride in keeping equipment running at peak performance. You will be responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing commercial laundry equipment and facility systems. This includes washers, dryers, pumps, swamp coolers etc. Equipment must be maintained to operating standards to ensure reliability and efficiency across all stores.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of tools.
- Solid understanding of electrical systems and circuitry.
- Ability to read and troubleshoot electrical schematics.
- Valid driver’s license with own reliable transportation.
- Basic computer skills (email, internet, Microsoft Office).
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing hands-on work.
Nice To Haves
- 3+ years in maintenance or industrial repair.
- 2+ years in electrical troubleshooting.
- Backgrounds such as: aircraft mechanic, millwright, HVAC, factory maintenance, or military mechanical roles.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair commercial laundry and facility equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and troubleshoot circuits.
- Maintain equipment to strict operational tolerances.
- Travel between multiple locations to complete service calls.
- Communicate clearly with management regarding repairs and priorities.
