About The Position

This is a part-time internship position at Happy Valley LaunchBox Coworking. The intern will be responsible for various tasks to support the daily operations and events. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, enjoys networking, has attention to detail, is comfortable in a fast-paced environment, and has an interest in entrepreneurship. This position offers immediate openings for Summer 2026 with potential for extension into Fall 2026. Applicants must provide a cover letter and resume.

Requirements

• Must be a current Penn State student.
• Must be able to work mornings (8:00 AM – Noon).
• Must provide a cover letter and resume.
• Must be able to work up to approximately 20 hours each week.
• Must be a self-starter.
• Must enjoy meeting and networking with new people.
• Must have attention for detail.
• Must be comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
• Must have an interest in and an appreciation for entrepreneurship.
• Employment requires successful completion of background check(s).

Responsibilities

• Daily walk-throughs of the coworking space.
• Maintaining inventory for office supplies and promotional materials.
• Supporting staff in the execution of twice-monthly coworking meals.
• Assisting with maintaining coworking intake form data.
• Creating ad-hoc signage to communicate closures for special events/meetings.
• Providing general event and logistics support.

Benefits

• Paid $15 per hour.
