We’re building a more open world. Join us. Introduction to the Team Expedia Group is looking to hire a Launch Manager to join our team in Chicago. Do you like managing projects? Do you like coming up with solutions? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment? Our Launch Management team work closely with our external B2B travel partners to drive the end-to-end delivery of our partner integrations. For this role we are looking for an accomplished project manager with exceptional customer facing skills. Our launch manager role supports our sales team to problem solve and collaborate across functions, ensuring a smooth launch process for each partner.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of project management experience, preferably in a technical domain
  • At least 2 years of customer-facing experience working with enterprise customers on technology solutions
  • Quick learner with the ability to develop a thorough understanding of the client’s business, industry and needs
  • Good interpersonal skills and experience working with both business and technical teams
  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision and with other department personnel in a dynamic and time sensitive work environment
  • Be articulate with good presentation and written communication skills
  • Able to communicate in fluent English.

Nice To Haves

  • Multicultural awareness and experience working internationally is a plus
  • Some experience with Salesforce CRM, or a similar Cloud based CRM, will be a great advantage
  • Current PMI certification is highly advantageous
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own and drive the full onboarding cycle for your portfolio of partners from contract signing through launch
  • Lead strategic kick off calls and complex integration workshops with partners, ensuring a deep understanding of partner requirements and how our solutions will help meet these, tailoring to their business needs and processes
  • Autonomously lead and manage complex, multi-party implementation projects in a highly consultative and proactive manner, with a solution-oriented approach.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Product, and other teams to address partner needs, continuously optimizing the overall partner experience and user journey.
  • Document, contribute and manage process improvements and new initiatives
  • Support and manage pre-sales activities and participate in high-stakes RFPs
  • Monitor and report on the status of partner engagements, proactively managing the pipeline and prioritizing launch schedules in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Oversee the partner certification process, providing strategic advice and best practices to ensure partners meet the highest standards and compliance requirements.
  • Provide strategic support in pre-sales activities, including responding to RFPs, shaping proposals, and consulting with prospects on technical and onboarding requirements.
