About The Position

US Farathane is seeking an experienced Launch Coordinator- Quality Systems. This role will assure compliance in quality systems internally to the standard and internal compliance to corporate procedures. The position involves developing quality systems for the plant, performing various audits, tracking new launches, and assisting with quality engineering functions. The role also includes training employees on quality system revisions and maintaining training records. Additionally, the Launch Coordinator may act as a Program Manager for system improvement projects and provide on-the-job training.

  • PC Familiarity.
  • Must be hands on between audits and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 3 years to 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Develop Quality System for plant.
  • Perform audits of system to TS16949, process audits, MS9000/BOS system as needed.
  • Update TS/ISO book files.
  • Perform engineering file verification audits.
  • Verify APQP Compliance in Parts.
  • Perform Quality file verification.
  • Track all new launches.
  • Perform material handling verification.
  • Verify plant capacity as required by Ford Quarterly.
  • Assist and actively participate in solutions to areas of nonconformance.
  • Assist Quality Engineer function as needed.
  • Perform control plan verification.
  • Verify Record Retention.
  • Track Corrective actions of audits.
  • Train employees on revisions as required to Quality system and/or policies.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as they relate to overall safe and efficient plant operation.
  • Maintains records to monitor training for postings for all employees.
  • Confers with Managers and Supervisors to determine training needs.
  • Able to act as a Program Manager for system improvement projects and maintain personal evidence files for these projects.
  • Able to train subordinates or superiors in system policies, procedures, or instructions that have bearing to department, job function, or standards.
  • Provides OJT to personnel where appropriate.
