About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Lattice Boom Crane Operator to operate a Link-Belt 218 crawler crane on construction projects in the Woodbridge, VA area. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to safety, excellent equipment operation skills, and experience working in commercial or industrial construction environments. This is a full-time role with 40 hours guaranteed per week, paying $35.00 per hour to start. The stated job duration is three months.

Requirements

Current NCCCO Lattice Boom Crane Operator Certification or an equivalent recognized certification.
Minimum of 3 years of crane operating experience.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Ability to pass pre-employment screening, including drug testing.
Strong understanding of load charts, rigging practices, and crane safety procedures.
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.

Nice To Haves

Experience operating a Link-Belt 218 or similar lattice boom crawler crane.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.
Current Signal Person and/or Rigger Certification.
Experience on commercial, industrial, or heavy civil construction projects.

Responsibilities

Safely operate a Link-Belt 218 lattice boom crawler crane.
Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues.
Lift, move, and position materials according to site plans and supervisor direction.
Communicate effectively with riggers, signal persons, and site management.
Follow OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations.
Maintain accurate equipment logs and inspection reports.
Assist with crane setup, teardown, and jobsite mobilization as needed.
