About The Position

Archer Western Construction is seeking a Lattice Boom Crane Operator for the Belmont Pump Station project in Woodbridge, Virginia. The operator’s primary function is to operate a crane at the worksite to construct, maintain, or repair highway, heavy civil, or building structures. Equipment operators are also expected to assist with other jobsite duties as needed. Requirements

• NCCCO certification for a Lattice Boom Crawler Crane is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Strong work ethic and desire to learn.

Responsibilities

• Operate a crane to perform tasks such as driving pylons, setting beams, and directing and assisting with rigging.
• Apply knowledge of procedures for loading and unloading materials.
• Oil, grease, service, and make normal maintenance adjustments to equipment as needed.
• Perform daily safety and maintenance checks.
• Complete paperwork and other documentation as needed.
• Perform other related duties and assist with other jobsite tasks as required.
