About The Position

Regina Caeli Academy is seeking a part-time middle/high school Latin teacher for the 2026-2027 academic year at its Spring, TX location. This role is within a classical and Catholic classroom environment. While formal teaching certification or experience is not required, the ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith and be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church. Regina Caeli Academy is a classical homeschool academy in the Catholic tradition, offering instruction in a formal Socratic classroom setting on Mondays and Thursdays. The positions are hourly, and childcare/nursery is provided for staff. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will receive training in instruction and classroom management according to RCA standards. The ideal applicant should possess strong communication skills, good organization, timeliness, a traditional view of the student/teacher relationship, and actively live the Catholic faith. All staff must complete a background check and RCA Safe Child training. Training will be provided on August 6, 7, and 10, 2026.

Requirements

• Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.
• Deep love for the Catholic faith.
• Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all the sacraments appropriate to his or her state in life.
• Strong communication skills.
• Good organization.
• Timeliness.
• A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
• Must complete a background check.
• Must complete RCA Safe Child training.
• Attend 3 days of training on August 6, 7, and 10, 2026 (8am-5pm).
