About The Position

Plansee USA LLC is seeking a Lathe Automation Machinist for their Plansee site in Franklin, USA. This role specializes in transforming semi-finished molybdenum and tungsten products into complex components, leveraging decades of precision manufacturing and engineering excellence. Requirements

• CNC Machinist Level 2 or 3.
• Experience with Okuma machines with Fanuc and Okuma controls.
• Ability to set up and operate standard CNC lathes machines.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and GD&T.
• Fluent in using all types of measuring equipment from hand tools to CMM and optical comparator.
• Ability to read and understand G and M code.
• Ability to perform simple program edits as needed.
• Must be able to set up complex jobs using work instructions or guides.
• Must be able to work under limited supervision.

Responsibilities
