About The Position
This role involves performing a variety of law enforcement duties related to enforcing laws, maintaining peace, and protecting citizens. The specific level (Police Officer II or III) will determine the scope of duties, with higher levels involving more technical and full-performance responsibilities in areas such as investigations, K-9 units, community policing, and patrol.
Requirements
- Lateral Police Officer position implies prior law enforcement experience.
- Must be able to perform entry-level law enforcement duties (Officer I).
- Must be able to perform working-level technical law enforcement duties (Officer II).
- Must be able to perform full-performance technical law enforcement duties (Officer III).
