Lateral Conflicts Analyst

Gibson Dunn•Los Angeles, NY

About The Position

The Lateral Conflicts Analyst supports the Firm’s lateral hiring process by running and analyzing conflicts searches. The role involves researching corporate information through external sources, searching internal proprietary databases, and compiling and analyzing results for lateral candidates. The Analyst highlights critical issues for review by Conflicts Attorneys and upholds the Department’s standards for quality, consistency, accuracy, thoroughness, and customer service. The position requires an understanding of legal conflicts of interest, related ethical rules, and developments in professional services risk management. The Analyst works closely with Conflicts Attorneys, Resolution Analysts, other Conflicts Analysts, Lateral Partner Recruitment & Integration, Attorney Recruiting, and other members of the New Business Intake and Conflicts Departments.
