About The Position

Ensuring the kitchen is clean, well maintained and organized at all times. Maintains a proper level of clean inventory with a high standard of cleanliness according to the sanitation code. Wisp Resort is a four-season ski, golf and recreational destination resort. Because of the nature of the resort business, employees may be asked to perform other duties outside of the job description. Also, hours of operation are 24/7 including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent, unless company sees capability without minimum education requirement
  • Previous kitchen experience helpful
  • Basic English
  • Basic math
  • Standing, reaching, lifting, bending, kneeling, stooping, climbing, push and pull items weighing 25 pounds or less.
  • Manual dexterity, auditory and visual demands.

Responsibilities

  • Washes and stores all dishes, trays, utensils, cups and equipment used.
  • Sets up and breaks down dish machine. Cleans and polishes machine thoroughly and checks to see it is operating correctly.
  • Removes trash from kitchen area and cleans and sanitizes trash receptacles.
  • Assists the Cooks and Servers as necessary.
  • Records all breakage.
  • Exhibits ability to multi-task, prioritize and work with limited supervision in a team environment.
