About The Position

Shah Eye Center is looking for an energetic, sales driven individual to join our team as Lasik Coordinator who will provide patient counseling via telephone and one-on-one counseling to prospective/current patients who have inquired about Lasik procedures. Conducts patient interviews and case histories. Educates patients in risks and benefits of Lasik Eye Surgery. In addition, the coordinator will be responsible for scheduling patients for comprehensive examinations, eye surgery, follow-up visits, back up to scheduling minor surgeries and all data entry of marketing and clinical outcome data, discussion of payment plans as wells as coordinating and planning marketing Lasik educational literature on behalf of the practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide counseling to prospective and current patients on the benefits, treatments, and risks of Lasik Eye Surgery.
• Conduct patient interviews and case histories, scan Lasik charts, and assist Techs during Lasik surgeries
• Schedule patients for comprehensive examinations, eye surgery, follow-up visits, back up to scheduling minor surgeries
• Data entry of marketing and clinical outcome data, discussion of payment plans and credit options, as well as coordinating, planning, and ordering marketing Lasik educational literature such as refractive kits
• Assist in marketing and health fairs; maintain constant contact with marketing team regarding our social media, patient written and video testimonials, and reply to emails from website.
• Keep tracker updates and presenting weekly reports on leads to Administration.
• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and handle inquiries from clients or customers
• Other duties as assigned by management.
