Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures
Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of metal materials preferred, but not required
Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent time management skills

Responsibilities

Adheres to all safety procedures and guidelines.
Clocking in and out of work order correctly.
Safely and efficiently operate grinders, hoist, cut wheels, and any other equipment used for part unloading and processing.
Determine the cause of scrap and if it can be reworked, or if in question, see the foreman.
Process paperwork, print labels, and claim parts/scrap correctly.
Read blueprints to determine work order instructions for such specifications as de-tabbing, oxide removal, part marking, Lissmac, or DA sanding.
