About The Position

Agiliti’s Surgical Laser Technicians help ensure medical equipment is ready and working before, during, and after each surgery. The technician maintains professional relationships with physicians, hospital staff, physicians’ office staff, and other personnel through professional appearance and behavior. The role includes preparing and sterilizing equipment, being present in the operating room during procedures, and transporting and maintaining equipment. The level of involvement during a procedure depends on physician demands. The primary job location is the Philadelphia District; the posting lists Mt. Laurel, Pennsylvania as the location city and state. The pay range is $18.19–$27.82. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, job-related knowledge, skills, and other factors. Depending on the position offered, short- and/or long-term incentives may be provided.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Current, valid, and unrestricted driver’s license.
Safe driving record based on Agiliti policies.
Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and push or pull up to 100 pounds.
Ability to stand and/or sit for long periods and bend and reach repeatedly.
Ability to frequently bend, stoop, twist, climb, crouch or squat, kneel or crawl, sit, and stand for long periods.

Nice To Haves

Prior medical, EMT, Surgical Technologist, or military experience.

Responsibilities

Test, clean, and sterilize equipment in the operating room before procedures.
Be present in the operating room during procedures; involvement is subject to physician demands.
Remove, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical equipment after procedures.
Communicate equipment defects or maintenance needs to key stakeholders promptly to support operational excellence of vehicles and equipment.
Transport equipment to ensure it is in the right place at the right time for procedures.
