About The Position

Standard Iron is seeking a Laser Operator for their 2nd shift. This role involves using high-powered lasers for metal cutting, focusing on precision, efficiency, and eco-friendliness. The operator will be responsible for ensuring all cuts are defect-free and on time, contributing to customer satisfaction and minimizing scrap.

Requirements

• Achieve a 100% score on the general shop assessment within the first week.
• Work responsibly and safely.

Responsibilities

• Select lenses, load programs, and set laser parameters.
• Establish stop locations and adjust the beam's focal point.
• Control the laser machine from start-up to shut-down.
• Evaluate and correct issues to ensure quality.
• Ensure all cuts are defect-free and on time.
• Maintain an eco-friendly operation.
• Minimize scrap.
