About The Position

The Laser Operator is responsible for operating, maintaining, troubleshooting, and adjusting the laser as required. The role works on the manufacturing floor and may work second shift if needed. Tasks include determining material usage, checking parts against a list, marking parts properly, identifying various types of metal, and using a tow motor and crane. The position interacts with other manufacturing personnel, the area supervisor, and the project manager. Additional duties may be assigned by the manager.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience using a laser; LVD experience is specified.
• Demonstrated strong past attendance record.
• Programming capabilities with Fanuc Controls.
• Ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and adjust the laser as required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• High school diploma and/or GED.
