About The Position

An individual in this position operates and maintains laser engraving and flexo plating equipment used to produce engraved sleeves and printing plates. The role is responsible for quality control functions associated with engraved material, machine setup and operation, and the proper use of quality-control devices and inspection applications.

Responsibilities

• Operate the laser engraving device and associated equipment.
• Perform quality control checks on engraving and plate files.
• Clean and prepare sleeves and plates for shipping and delivery.
• Maintain production and regulatory records as required.
• Deliver and pick up sleeves and plates from carriers, customers, and vendors.
• Maintain assigned operator equipment and assist service technicians when they are involved.
• Keep the work area organized and uncluttered, and follow safety rules and regulations.
• Maintain support equipment, including chillers, air handling, and washing equipment, and ensure proper operation.
• Perform other duties as necessary to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
