About The Position

Operate, maintain, and optimize Beamer fiber laser marking systems to permanently mark, brand, or functionally mark products for traceability, compliance, and aesthetics. The role includes setting up and running marking equipment, programming mark patterns and adjusting operating parameters, checking quality, and supporting integration with inline manufacturing lines. It also involves applying product labels and stickers, inspecting products and packaging, and reporting equipment or quality issues.

Requirements

• Experience with laser equipment or manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Beamer fiber laser marking machines for direct part marking, functional labeling, logo branding, or surface texturing.
• Use software to design mark patterns and adjust parameters such as wavelength, power, speed, and focus.
• Verify marks meet industry standards.
• Support production goals by integrating marking systems into inline manufacturing lines to improve efficiency and throughput.
• Position, affix, and secure product labels with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Remove defective products or packaging and verify label accuracy, seal integrity, and conformity to specifications.
• Notify supervisors of equipment malfunctions, label errors, or quality problems.
