About The Position

Stainless Piping Specialists is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team to operate our Pipe Laser Machine. The laser machine operator position safely performs laser cutting for a variety of Stainless Pipe configurations. 1st & 2nd shift positions available.

Requirements

• 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Blueprint reading.
• Organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of laser operator experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform typical Pipe laser cutting operations.
• Select proper pre-loaded cutting programs.
• Establish proper stop location, adjust laser beam focal point.
• Make proper set-ups for cutting operations.
• Perform dimensional inspections.
• Detect and report defective materials to supervisor.
• May perform a variety of other tasks as production needs require.
• Load equipment with raw material using the overhead crane and/or forklift in order to prepare the equipment for an accurate cut.
