About The Position

Horsepower Automotive Group (HPAG) is a leader in the growing automotive aftermarket industry. This role operates and programs TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending systems, ensuring accurate, high-quality output on every run. We are a fully air-conditioned facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be 18 or older
• Basic computer skills required

Nice To Haves

• Experience in metal fabrication preferred
• Experience in laser operation and programming preferred
• Prior use of TRUMPF systems, Boost Programs, or TruTops is a strong plus
• Knowledge of sheet metal fabrication and similar equipment
• Understanding of welding and final assembly of complex sheet metal assemblies
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
• Collaborative team player across departments

Responsibilities

• Operate TRUMPF Boost Laser cutting and bending system programs
• Program files for laser cut nesting
• Convert SolidWorks files into laser sheet metal files for production
• Create standard work instructions for new and existing programs
• Basic setup and tool loading on press brake
• Troubleshoot CNC programs and implement process improvements
• Communicate effectively with staff to ensure accuracy and quality
