About The Position

This role is responsible for assisting with production line operations, including packing, assembling, and material handling. The Laser - Loader/Unloader will perform basic machine operation tasks, use hand tools, and maintain the cleanliness of the production area. Safety is paramount, and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is required. The position also involves assisting with shipping and receiving, inspecting materials, and collaborating with team members to meet production goals.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in manufacturing or similar environments preferred.
Ability to lift light to heavy-weight material.
Ability to frequently lift/move average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
Ability to work in environments with noise levels requiring hearing protection over a full work shift (8-12 hours).

Responsibilities

Assists with production line operations, including packing, assembling, and material handling.
Performs basic machine operation tasks and uses a variety of hand tools to complete tasks.
Loads and unloads materials and products.
Maintains cleanliness of the production area by sweeping, organizing tools, and disposing of waste.
Follows all safety regulations, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
Assists with shipping and receiving, including checking in materials and packaging products for delivery.
Inspects materials for defects and reports any issues to supervisors or quality assurance.
Collaborates with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
Participates in basic maintenance of equipment and tools as required.
Performs other duties as assigned.
