About The Position
LaserAway is seeking a skilled Laser Field Service Engineer to maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize our laser equipment across a multi-location territory. You'll be the critical link between our clinical teams and operational excellence, ensuring equipment reliability and clinic readiness.
Requirements
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in laser, biomedical, electrical, HVAC, or similar technical field
- Strong electrical safety knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Excellent time management, problem-solving, and communication abilities
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, climb 8-ft ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and occasional travel (up to 5 days)
- Proficiency with email, spreadsheets, video conferencing, and ticketing systems
Responsibilities
- Manage laser maintenance and repairs across 8+ clinic locations and 100+ medical devices
- Respond promptly to service tickets and on-call issues, with flexibility for after-hours support
- Lead new clinic equipment setup and validation to meet launch deadlines
- Perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and parts inventory management
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and troubleshoot complex electrical/optical issues
- Communicate proactively with clinic teams on equipment status and repair timelines
- Create and submit weekly equipment reports
