About The Position

DSV is seeking a Laser Design System Specialist for their Solutions division. This full-time role involves utilizing computer-aided design and manufacturing software to complete draft designs, coordinating projects with customers, finishing designs from sketches, and applying knowledge of engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings. The specialist will obtain information from various sources including prints, charts, sketches, and work instructions.

Requirements

• Experience with computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Experience with computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software.
• Ability to complete draft designs.
• Ability to finish designs from sketches.
• Knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences.
• Ability to obtain information from prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic work instruction.

Responsibilities

• Utilize computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing software to complete draft designs.
• Coordinates projects with customers as required.
• Finish designs from sketches.
• Utilize knowledge of various machines, engineering practices, mathematics, building materials, and other physical sciences to complete drawings.
• Obtain information from prints, charts, sketches, work instructions, documents, verbal and electronic work instruction.
