We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Restoration Large Loss Team Members who leads by example, takes pride in delivering quality work, and enjoys developing others while providing outstanding customer service. This position is an important leadership role within our Large Loss Team, supporting major commercial and residential losses, high-volume events, and storm response operations. The ideal candidate is an experienced restoration professional who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, managing crews, traveling when needed, and responding to changing project demands. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in restoration, construction, cleaning, or a related field.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • Must be willing to participate in on-call rotations.
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and extended hours as needed.
  • Must be willing to travel for large-loss, storm, and high-influx events.
  • Lift up to 50 pounds independently and up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work overhead for extended periods.
  • Work in confined spaces such as crawl spaces and attics.
  • Safely operate company vehicles and restoration equipment.
  • Perform repetitive lifting, pushing, pulling, carrying, and reaching.
  • Work around water, mold, smoke, debris, cleaning chemicals, and other environmental conditions.
  • Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators when required.
  • Work in varying temperatures, humidity levels, and occasionally noisy environments.
  • Work extended hours and varying shifts during emergency response and large-loss events.
  • Travel and work in different environments and jobsite conditions as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous restoration experience, particularly in water, fire, mold, storm, or large-loss restoration.
  • Previous construction experience.
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Experience working on commercial, large-loss, or multi-crew projects is a plus.
  • IICRC certifications preferred (or willingness to obtain).
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to lead crews and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to make sound decisions and solve problems under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation.

  • Travel to support storm events, catastrophic losses, and high-influx periods.
  • Work in unfamiliar locations and changing jobsite conditions.

  • Adapt quickly to changing schedules, priorities, and project requirements.
  • Maintain a positive, professional attitude during high-pressure and high-volume events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and supervise restoration technicians on large-loss, residential, and commercial restoration projects.
  • Coordinate and direct crews in the field to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to project requirements.
  • Assign daily work activities and communicate priorities clearly to team members.
  • Perform and oversee water, fire, mold, storm, specialty cleaning, demolition, and other restoration services.
  • Assist with mobilization and demobilization of crews and equipment for large-loss and storm response projects.
  • Manage multiple crews, job sites, and changing priorities during high-volume events.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining clear and consistent communication throughout the restoration process.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, insurance representatives, property managers, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
  • Monitor project quality and ensure all work meets SERVPRO standards and applicable industry requirements.
  • Identify jobsite hazards and enforce all company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and required PPE procedures.
  • Create and maintain detailed, accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, moisture readings, equipment records, daily logs, and other required documentation.
  • Manage labor hours, equipment usage, and consumable materials to maximize efficiency and control project costs.
  • Monitor crew productivity and make adjustments as necessary to keep projects on schedule.
  • Train, coach, and mentor Restoration Technicians to support their professional growth and development.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new employees and temporary/supplemental labor when needed.
  • Communicate project updates, challenges, staffing needs, equipment requirements, and scheduling concerns with the Restoration Manager and office staff.
  • Inspect, clean, and maintain company vehicles, equipment, and tools.
  • Ensure equipment is properly placed, monitored, documented, maintained, and removed from jobsites.
  • Assist with warehouse organization, facility maintenance, equipment preparation, and inventory management.
  • Participate in emergency response and on-call rotations as required.
  • Be available and willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when business or emergency response demands require it.
  • Be willing to travel for large-loss projects, storm events, catastrophic losses, and periods of high job volume.
  • Support out-of-town deployments, including extended travel and overnight stays, when necessary.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and represent SERVPRO positively at all times.
  • Continue developing technical knowledge through ongoing training and industry certifications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
