About The Position

Services and orders products for customers by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Serving customers assigned by taking presales orders for delivery. Ensure that all deliveries are properly worked by stocking our designated shelves and displays; ensuring that back stock is properly broken down and placed on appropriate pallets, bunkers, or trailers in an organized fashion; gather all shells/flats, and pallets to be picked up, and damage or out of date be bundled and placed in pick-up area for next delivery; then review our promotions and new sales orders with the necessary managers at our customer’s location before finalizing the order sheet for the next delivery date. Communicate issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales and delivery team. Communicates with each account: new product offering(s), sales events/promotions, and display opportunities. Adheres to the daily schedule and ensures each account is serviced daily. Must adapt to any changes in work assignments to support organizational restructuring efforts. Inspect and maintain customers’ shelves, end caps, and other allocated spaces to keep them clean and neat. Audits and pulls out-of-date or damaged products and rotates products to maintain the freshest product level possible regularly. Forecast sales based on previous sales reports and upcoming promotions/sales to ensure accuracy for our customers and minimize pallet pick-ups. Follow all company policies and procedures set forth by management.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license meeting acceptable criteria.
  • Must pass a background check, motor vehicle driver check, and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Encompass sales software.
  • Knowledge of Paycom HRIS.

Responsibilities

  • Serving customers assigned by taking presales orders for delivery.

  • Breaking down back stock and placing it on appropriate pallets, bunkers, or trailers in an organized fashion.
  • Gathering shells/flats, and pallets to be picked up.
  • Bundling damaged or out-of-date items and placing them in the pick-up area for the next delivery.
  • Reviewing promotions and new sales orders with customer managers before finalizing the order sheet.
  • Communicating issues, problems, or opportunities with the sales and delivery team.
  • Communicating new product offerings, sales events/promotions, and display opportunities with each account.
