About The Position

Ensuring internal and external customer expectations of turn-around and quality are met in a fast-paced digital print environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work overtime on short notice.
• Use safety equipment and protective clothing as directed: i.e., steel-toed shoes, back support device when working at your workstation or lifting, moving, or pushing objects, safety glasses when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Quality Control - # of rejected pieces
• Efficiency - # of pieces completed per hour
• Preparing or creating electronic art files
• Ensuring the digital art and graphic elements are complete, consistent, and compatible with the prepress & RIP processes. Reads order to verify processes required, quantity to be run, and substrate to be used
• Creating layout for customer approval and coordination of job package for production
• Ripping files for digital print on large / grand format printers
• Creating and reviewing proofs and monitoring quality during production
• Performing color calibrations, daily equipment maintenance and restocking
• Performing basic color management tasks and operating digital presses to expected production standards
• Maintaining assigned documentation and schedules
• Regular attendance and the ability to work overtime on short notice. Input labor hours into Shop-Trak time keeping system.
• Use safety equipment and protective clothing as directed: i.e., steel-toed shoes, back support device when working at your workstation or lifting, moving, or pushing objects, safety glasses when necessary.
• Accurately enters time and job information into the Shop-Trak Collection System
• Operate standard office equipment including copy machine.
• Carries out conduct in accordance with all company policies, procedures, safety and applicable laws.
