The Campaign Finance Board (CFB) is a nonpartisan, independent city agency dedicated to making local democracy more open, transparent, and equitable by empowering New Yorkers' participation in elections. The Public Affairs division, specifically the Language Access Unit, focuses on ensuring meaningful language access for voters, candidates, and contributors. This unit provides various language services and leads the agency's language access strategy, ensuring compliance with mandates like Local Law 30, the Voting Rights Act, and Local Law 48. The Language Services Coordinator will report to the Language Services Manager and play a crucial role in supporting the agency's mission by managing the coordination and delivery of translation, localization, and interpretation services, maintaining language systems, and contributing to programmatic strategies. This role involves working with internal teams and external vendors to ensure high-quality, timely, and compliant language services.
