About The Position
Join Our AoPS Academy as a Language Arts Instructor! Are you passionate about Language Arts? Do you love inspiring young minds in an engaging, collaborative classroom setting? We have the perfect opportunity for you! The Part-Time Instructor will teach engaging curriculum using company-created materials for advanced students in small classes, engage students in active and student-led learning, manage classrooms of up to 16 students, grade and provide feedback on tests and assignments, build relationships with students and families, and inspire a love for learning and critical thinking in language arts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Strong content knowledge in reading, writing, and/or grammar
- Experience teaching or tutoring students
Nice To Haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in education or a humanities field is strongly preferred
- Classroom teaching experience at the K-12 level is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Teach Engaging Curriculum: Use company-created curriculum and materials designed for advanced students to lead small classes in language arts
