About The Position

This is a 0.4 FTE position for a Language Arts Teacher at Athey Creek Middle School, starting at the beginning of the 2026-2027 School Year. The role involves creating a vibrant learning community for middle school students, potentially teaching Journalism, Drama, or other related language arts classes. The teacher will educate the whole child intellectually, emotionally, and physically, plan instructional needs using a constructivist approach, implement various assessments, and establish strong relationships with parents, students, and staff. The position also requires attending faculty, parent, and school meetings, and performing other assigned duties.

  • Oregon teaching license in assigned area(s) and proper endorsements
