About The Position

ATS Traffic is looking for motivated team members to join our growing team. This position involves working outdoors in all types of weather and is responsible for implementing Traffic Management Plans, setting up signage and cones, and safely closing and reopening lanes. Traffic Technicians design and execute safe lane closures and traffic detours through the physical setup and removal of traffic control devices, including barricades, cones, signage, and digital message boards.

Requirements

A valid Class 5 driver’s license and 3-year clean driving abstract is required.
All employees must undergo and pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening.
Ability to successfully pass a Fit Test including lifting up to 50 pounds.
A minimum of 6 months of experience as an LCT is required.
TCP/LCT Certificate is required.

Own method of transportation to get to and from work is preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct traffic control in urban areas, construction sites, and at major events such as music festivals and sporting events.
Implement Traffic Management Plans.
