About The Position

As a Landscaping Technician, you will play a key role in keeping our resort grounds vibrant, healthy, and visually stunning. You’ll be responsible for inspecting, operating, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems to ensure efficient water use and optimal plant and turf health. Your work directly supports the beauty, sustainability, and overall guest experience of the property.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in landscaping, groundskeeping, or a related field preferred.
  • Knowledge of landscaping equipment, tools, and chemical safety practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Customer-service mindset with good communication skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and occasional evenings.
  • Valid driver’s license (as required by position).

Responsibilities

  • Maintain resort landscaping, including mowing, edging, trimming shrubs and trees, and weeding flowerbeds.
  • Keep walkways, driveways, parking lots, and common outdoor areas clean and free of debris.
  • Operate, inspect, and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawnmowers, trimmers, and blowers.
  • Safely handle, apply, and store fertilizers, chemicals, and landscaping materials.
  • Follow all safety rules, OSHA standards, and resort policies while performing duties.
  • Identify and report potential safety hazards or maintenance issues on the property.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and battery-powered equipment safely and effectively.
  • Work at heights when required using ladders, scaffolding, or lifts with appropriate PPE.
  • Communicate professionally with team members and leadership using radios, phones, email, and in person.
  • Support other maintenance or cleaning tasks as assigned by resort management.
  • Comply with all environmental regulations and sustainability initiatives.
  • Follow all city, county, state, and federal regulations.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet operational needs.
