Landscaping Technician
About The Position
Carolina Sweepers is seeking a Landscaping Technician to perform landscaping services at commercial properties, primarily retail shopping centers. Responsibilities include mowing grass, weed-eating, trimming, edging, and using a backpack blower. The role also involves assisting Field Services Technicians with maintenance projects, potentially working on ladders/roofs or near retention ponds (with provided safety gear and training). The technician will manage company equipment, receipts, and paperwork, and use a smartphone for work orders and internal email (cell phone reimbursement provided). This is a full-time position with a base schedule of 8:30 am - 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday, with potential for varied hours and weekend/after-hours availability for certain projects. Overtime pay is provided for hours exceeding 40 per week.
Requirements
- Active driver license
- Clean driving record
- Experience using various landscaping tools
- Experience pulling a trailer behind a pickup truck
- Ability to pass a background check
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen
