We're looking for a dependable and motivated commercial Landscaping Supervisor to join our team! In this role, you'll partner with the Landscaping Project Manager to help keep daily operations running smoothly, support the crew in the field, and contribute to the overall success and upkeep of the grounds throughout the military installation.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of landscaping experience.
  • Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in a landscaping lead or assistant supervisory role.
  • Experience operating landscaping equipment and machinery.
  • Knowledge of landscape maintenance and groundskeeping practices.
  • Knowledge of OSHA regulations, hazard recognition, and safe work practices.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety practices and ability to enforce safety standards.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Valid Real ID
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain government base access.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working on government or military installations.
  • Horticulture, pesticide, or industry-related certifications.
  • Irrigation troubleshooting and repair experience.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in the field.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Landscaping Project Manager with daily crew coordination and work assignments.
  • Provide guidance and support to crew members in the field.
  • Help ensure landscaping work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
  • Assist with training employees on equipment use, safety procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor equipment, vehicles, tools, and materials; report maintenance or supply needs.
  • Conduct routine site inspections to maintain quality and identify areas for improvement.
  • Serve as one of the primary points of contact for crews when the Project Manager is unavailable.
  • Communicate job progress, concerns, and operational needs to management.
  • Perform landscaping and grounds maintenance duties alongside the crew as needed.
