About The Position

Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the efforts of the landscaping team to ensure high-quality maintenance and landscaping services.

Requirements

  • Previous landscape/lawn care experience.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety standards related to landscaping operations.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety files, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedural manuals.
  • Ability to handle operational challenges calmly and effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driver record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and communicate.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required include the ability to observe details at any range and distinguish various colors.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred but not required.
  • Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the daily activities of the landscaping team.
  • Provide training and guidance to team members.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
  • Plan and schedule landscaping projects, including mowing, edging, pruning, mulching, and trimming.
  • Allocate resources and assign tasks to team members.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust as needed.
  • Operate and oversee the use of vehicles and powered equipment such as mowers, tractors, snow blowers, chainsaws, electric clippers, sod cutters, and pruning saws.
  • Ensure regular maintenance and minor repairs of equipment.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards.
  • Address any issues or deficiencies promptly.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their landscaping needs and preferences.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by delivering high-quality services.
  • Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required.
  • Enforce compliance with all Agency policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Ensure adherence to CARF, HIPAA, the Department of Labor, and other regulatory standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Director, Field Operations.
  • Supervise a team of landscaping associates.
