Requirements

  • Expertise in small engine repair, particularly 2-cycle engines used in grounds care, landscaping, and snow and ice equipment
  • Working knowledge of the general operation of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment
  • Familiarity with Toro commercial stand-on mowers
  • Tech-savviness and the ability to quickly learn new computer software
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills with a knack for troubleshooting
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience managing shop personnel
  • Safety-focused individual with the ability to maintain a clean and secure workspace
  • Mechanical and diagnostic ability

  • Be physically capable of lifting and handling objects weighing at least 50 lbs
  • Exhibit independence and resourcefulness, performing tasks with minimal supervision

  • Provide your own tools for the job
  • Possess DOT Medical Certification

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment, including stand-on mowers and small two-cycle tools
  • Assist in keeping the parts inventory clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on landscaping equipment
  • Change oil, hydraulic, and all other necessary fluids in a variety of different vehicles and equipment
