Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of hands-on commercial landscaping experience, including mowing, trimming, planting, and general grounds maintenance.
Experience operating landscaping equipment and tools safely and efficiently.
Solid understanding of landscaping techniques, materials, and equipment.
Understands and follows OSHA safety guidelines and procedures on the job site.
Communicates clearly, professionally, and respectfully with team members and clients.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Nice To Haves

Experience conducting basic site inspections or quality control walkthroughs.

Responsibilities

Lead a small team of landscaping laborers during scheduled shifts (2 days/month, every other week, 8 hours per shift).
Assign daily tasks and ensure team members understand expectations and safety protocols.
Provide on-the-job guidance, support, and training to crew members as needed.
Actively participate in landscaping tasks alongside the team, including: mowing, trimming, pruning, planting, mulching, and general grounds maintenance.
Ensure proper care and use of tools and equipment during each shift.
Conduct end-of-day walkthroughs to verify all assigned tasks were completed to company standards.
Identify and address any missed or substandard work before shift ends.
Maintain basic records of work completed, attendance, and any incidents or equipment issues.
Communicate with management regarding scheduling, supply needs, or personnel concerns.
Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and company policies.
