About The Position

Naylor Landscape Management is seeking a motivated Landscaping Foreman – Hardscape Installation to lead and work alongside a small, skilled team on complex outdoor living projects. This role involves overseeing hardscapes, fire features, water elements, lighting, and softscapes. The ideal candidate is passionate about high-quality craftsmanship and enjoys leading by example. The company has been serving the greater Kalamazoo area for over 30 years, offering a full range of services from maintenance to installations and snow removal. They pride themselves on creating luxurious outdoor living spaces with a dedicated team.

Requirements

• 1+ years’ experience leading a landscaping crew of 1–2+ crew members, preferably in installation and production.
• 3+ years’ experience in landscape installation projects and landscape production work required.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and landscape designs.
• The ability to obtain a CDL Class-A license within 60–90 days from start is required.
• Experience operating all equipment required for landscape install projects, including truck/trailer combinations.

Nice To Haves

• CDL Class-A license is preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Working alongside crew members to complete landscapes/hardscape installations efficiently and effectively.
• Supervising crew members to ensure efficient and high-quality landscape installations.
• Reading and interpreting blueprints, site plans, and project specifications for accurate execution.
• Coordinating material deliveries and job site logistics to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company standards to prevent accidents.
• Communicating with clients, project managers, and team members to address concerns and updates.
